BBC Things To Do

Clubmark has teamed up with the BBC's Things To Do project to offer accredited clubs a great opportunity to promote themselves in the build-up to and during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games and benefit from the broad reach of the BBC's website.

What is BBC Things To Do ?

The project will see sport taster activities promoted on the BBC website from June 22nd onwards.

It links to the wider aspirations of the BBC's Olympic & Paralympic Games coverage by involving people in physical activity and encouraging their interest and passion for sport through participation.

Clubs from Olympic and Paralympic sports are requested to support this by providing these taster sessions or similar experiences which they would upload to a dedicated section of the site.

The initiative will be a great way for clubs to attract new members, volunteers and supporters.

Clubs will retain the option of stipulating how often these sessions are available and at what times, so nobody should be overloaded and can make plans to meet demand.

What should we do to get involved ?

The BBC is asking clubs to visit their website as soon as possible.

They can check out more information, upload their details and benefit from this great opportunity which supports Sport England's mission to get more people playing sport.
