As the holiday season approaches, Sport England and the Clubmark team would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, secure and healthy New Year.

2010 has been a fantastic year for Clubmark with more accreditations and the incorporation of the FA into the programme.  Our coverage across the Country is outstanding - reaching as far North as Berwick-upon-Tweed with Berwick Cricket Club and as far South as Mullion Gymnastics Centre in Cornwall. The reach East and West is no less impressive, with Lowestoft & Yarmouth RFU Club in the East and Kington Golf Club, just bordering Wales in Herefordshire.

You don't need to be a big club to achieve Clubmark and with accreditations this year in sports as varied as ten pin bowling, weightlifting, surfing and ju-jitsu, we are extremely proud of the diverse range of clubs in the Clubmark family.

With a quarter of a million volunteers* dedicating their invaluable time and energy to work with and for Clubmark clubs we have even higher hopes for 2011. So, don't miss out - look out for the Clubmark newsletter in January for our plans and new and exciting developments!
