Clubmark newsletter - May 2011

IN THIS ISSUE

Welcome to the Clubmark May newsletter!

We have plenty to talk about in this issue....

In the last newsletter we celebrated smashing our 10,000 accredited clubs target and this was aided by the Football Association becoming aligned with Clubmark. We welcome the FA and its clubs on board and look forward to accrediting even more clubs in the coming months.

Sport England has licensed four more CSPs to accredit - West Yorkshire Sport, Cornwall Sports Partnership, South Yorkshire Sport and Active Surrey.

It's been a busy time for England Basketball and British Gymnastics with eight basketball clubs achieving Clubmark in one week and British Gymnastics accrediting its 500th club.

There are just a few days left to collect vouchers for Sainsbury's Active Kids 2011. Don't forget to read our Active Kids case study which takes a look at how Clubmark clubs can benefit from the scheme.

The Clubmark website continues to go from strength to strength and has now accumulated over 1 million page views. This is your newsletter and your website - we want to know what you want to read about so get in touch via features@clubmark.org.uk.
