NEW....maps of Clubmark clubs
Updated Clubmark maps have now been loaded to the Clubmark website. These are produced quarterly by KKP's GIS team to depict the geographical spread of accredited clubs using the data from the Clubmark database.
St John's Amateur Boxing Club achieves Clubmark
St John's Amateur Boxing Club is the first boxing club in Greater Manchester and one of only six boxing clubs in England to receive Clubmark.
Clubmark Conference 2009
On Thursday 24th September more than 80 NGB and CSP Clubmark lead officers converged at the accredited Broad Street Rugby Club in Coventry to attend this year's Clubmark training day.
In its third year, this annual event that celebrates the success of the Programme is designed to update all licensed organisations on Clubmark developments and share good practice identified throughout the year - not to mention a great opportunity to network.
Caversham Lawn Tennis Club gets accredited
Caversham LTC became the 500th Tennis Club nationally to gain Clubmark status. This recognises the vibrant environment that has been created at the Club with fantastic opportunities to play Tennis for all ages, abilities and aspirations. They are one of six Clubs within Berkshire who have been recognised as such and also marked a milestone nationally.
Clubmark achieved by two more Equestrian Centres
Quob Stables Equestrian Centre and Runningwell Equestrian Centre have both achieved Clubmark Accreditation.

Spotlight on... Pat Longville
Pat Longville is a panel umpire and Secretary for Crosskeys Netball Club. She has played in her local area since 1962 and qualified as an umpire in 1983.
When her former club amalgamated with Crosskeys 10 years ago, Pat helped to set up a very successful Junior Section at the Club.
Spotlight on... Margaret Nolan
Margaret Nolan is a Partnership Development Manager at runningsports. One of her jobs is to develop products to help run clubs and organisations.
She is in the process of reviewing runningsports' resources and is looking for some examples of how clubs and volunteers are using the runningsports products and in particular what impact they are having in your club and on your volunteers.

... about the progress being made with the Clubmark Charter!
The Clubmark Charter was launched at the start of the year to encourage local authorities, SSPs, schools and other agencies to define and embed their support for Clubmark. This clear, simple template document provides a range of typical benefits that can be adopted and supplemented with additional elements as required.
With the help of CSPs, a large proportion of local authorities have now been briefed and better still, a considerable number have already adopted the Charter as policy to recognise and reward Clubmark Clubs...
Trafford embraces the Clubmark Charter
Clubs and their development is one of Sport Trafford's key priorities and accreditation is one of the main initiatives it promotes.
All clubs are encouraged and supported to work towards and gain accreditation. In return the clubs not only gain from the accreditation process but are also recognised through a comprehensive benefits package, highlighted in the Council's Clubmark Charter.
Trafford publicises the charter in all its leisure centres. It has also introduced a Club of the Month board and it offers preferential rates and bookings for accredited clubs.

Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust launch its Clubmark Charter
