Yatton Netball Club achieves accreditation through England Netball Clubmark Award Scheme.

Yatton Netball Club was established in May 2005 due to a local demand and interest in playing the game of netball. This proved popular with all ages, so a junior section was introduced a year later and a permanent base was needed for the club.


A roll call of achievements…

Viking Kayak Club in Bedford has a number of reasons to celebrate. Not only has the Club recently become Clubmark accredited and only the third club in the country to be awarded the BCU's Top Club Gold, but it is also racking up a roll call of national and local awards; winning BCU's Club of the Year competition for 2009, hot on the heels of local success as Bedford Sports Club of the Year 2008, which it received just before Christmas.


Sutton Sting ... another Clubmark club receives accolade

Third Place for the Sting but confirmation that the Clubmark Club is the best place for ice hockey in the country, and all within three years from starting-up.

Sutton Sting were awarded 3rd place in the National Sports Club of the Year Awards.  The glittering awards ceremony took place at the Grange City Hotel in London and was hosted by Eleanor Oldroyd from Radio 5 Live.


Accreditation for the first club affiliated to the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts

KIXX Martial Arts and Fitness of Granville Road, Maidstone has recently joined an exclusive group by becoming the first club of its kind in the country to receive Clubmark accreditation from Sport England. The club concentrates on the teaching of the Chinese martial arts.


New Cumbrian Sports Workforce Education Programme with Clubmark at the heart of it

Helping clubs working towards Clubmark accreditation to access the courses needed to gain accreditation!

This year, Cumbria Sport Partnership along with a variety of partners, including Local Authorities and National Governing Bodies of Sport, has pulled together and published a comprehensive programme of courses to help upskill and increase the number of volunteers working in the sports field within Cumbria. 


National Recognition for Clubmark club

Clubmark accredited Richmond Volleyball Club, based in Richmond, South West London, has won the coveted Sports Club of the Year award at CCPRs national awards ceremony. This first place trophy and £6,000 prize money, presented this year by Olympic champion Rebecca Romero, is awarded to clubs who have made an outstanding contribution to their community.


Berkshire Sport awarded licence to accredit...

Berkshire Sport has become the latest County Sports Partnership (CSP) to become licensed to accredit Clubmark, taking the total number of licensed organisations to 42.


A new look for squash

Nick Rider, Chief Executive of England Squash & Racketball is delighted to announce that England Squash, the governing body of squash and racketball in England, has officially become England Squash & Racketball.


Argyle Tennis hit the mark

ARGYLE Tennis Club are the latest venue to achieve Tennis Clubmark in recognition of their good practice and quality delivery.


Academy of Beach Sports becomes the first Beach Volleyball Club to achieve Clubmark

The Academy Beach Sports has become the first Beach Volleyball Club to achieve Clubmark/Volley 1 Accreditation. The Club now has over 140 members including 13 qualified coaches and 8 qualified referees.
