Active Kids: Keep Collecting

Keep collecting!

Sainsbury's Active Kids 2013 has got off to a fantastic start, so make sure your club keeps collecting vouchers until 22nd May!

The key to Active Kids is to inspire everyone around you to pull together, work as a team and collect as many vouchers as possible. Make sure you create your organisations wishlist and let everyone know what you're collecting for by using the handy tools within the My Account section at Sainsburys.co.uk/ActiveKids .


Facebook Friday forums now live

We are delighted to announce that the official Clubmark Facebook page  will host an interactive discussion forum for clubs and volunteers every Friday afternoon.


Lincolnshire is licenced!

Lincolnshire Sports Partnership (LSP) is the latest county sports partnership to become a Clubmark licenced organisation, meaning they can award accreditation to quality clubs in their region.

The awarding of a Clubmark licence will support LSP in their future club development activities which are on the increase. 


Active Kids is underway for 2013

 Sainsbury's Active Kids is once again underway.

The scheme aims to help young people of all ages and abilities lead healthier, more active lifestyles whilst having fun.


Sport England work with outstanding young coaches

Sport England have given 200 of the country's most promising young coaches the chance to develop their skills at a three-day National Youth Coaches Academy at Loughborough University.

Sport England survey shows more people playing sport

 Figures released today by Sport England show that 15.5 million people aged 16 and over are playing sport every week.


Sunday Times ceremony kicks off sporting awards season

 Everybody at Clubmark would like to say congratulations to Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis who was recently voted Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year.

The 26-year-old set three personal bests and a British record of 6,995 points on her way to victory at London 2012


The sporting awards season continues...

 2012 was always going to be a very special year for sport and it's now the time when many awards are handed out to recognise the contribution of athletes and coaches.

On December 16th BBC Sport will be celebrating and reliving the events of this summer with its biggest ever Sports Personality of the Year awards ceremony.


Rugby club with 'celebrity' connections achieves accreditation

 West Park Leeds RFC  - the club that recently hosted the England side for a training session - has been awarded the RFU's Club Accreditation.
