Bourne Hockey Club celebrated achieving their Clubmark accreditation, ClubFirst and to celebrate the achievement, it held a number of master class sessions on Saturday mornings.

Bourne Hockey club were presented with their ClubFirst certificate by Catherine Lymer, Regional Development Officer from the England Hockey Board. She said:

"Clubs achieving the ClubFirst award are recognised as working towards providing a Safe, Effective and Child Friendly hockey Environment. To achieve the ClubFirst accreditation takes a lot of hard work and special thanks should go to Sue Oakley and the committee at Bourne Hockey Club for achieving this accreditation."

Rachel Belcher, the Hockey Project Officer at the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership was at the presentation. She said, "I know the committee went through a lot to complete their ClubFirst folder, but it is a fantastic achievement and they should be very proud of getting the award."
