Coach House Riding School recognised with Clubmark award
Coach House Riding School, the well-known and reputable local riding school at Chippenham in Cambridgeshire has been awarded Clubmark accreditation that officially recognises its reputation in top-level instruction to its younger members.
This ‘kitemark' is currently held by 13 riding schools throughout England and Coach House Riding School is leading the way for the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS)* as the very first ABRS-only approved riding establishment in the East of England to gain this accolade.
Coach House Riding School was set up over 23 years ago by proprietor, Linda Porter-Cohen and is an established fixture on the local scene. The school caters for pupils from 5 years upwards who wish to learn to ride there. And, if preferred, those young people coming to the school can learn all about looking after horses too, either separately or with the riding lessons as well.
Says Linda, "Our wide variety of horses and ponies allows us to offer riding lessons to many different abilities of rider - whether wanting an enjoyable, healthy, outdoor, social activity, returning to riding after a break, or interested in a career with horses. Above all, I would stress that we want all our riders to enjoy their time with us.
Commenting on the award, Linda said,
"All of us at the Coach House are delighted to gain the Clubmark accreditation. As an inspector and examiner for ABRS riding schools, it is very satisfying to become the very first ABRS-only approved establishment to get this. The Clubmark branding is further proof for everyone coming here that we maintain the highest standards both in the standard of instruction and also in the welfare of our customers and horses."
