Olympic opportunities for Clubmark clubs
![]()
Clubmark accredited clubs are being offered two excellent opportunities to promote themselves in the build-up to and during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.
Via separate partnerships with the Join in Trust, which is backed by the London 2012 Games organising committee (L.O.C.O.G), and BBC Sport clubs have the chance to be listed on two different, high-profile websites.
BBC Sport Taster activities will be promoted on its website from June 22nd and the Join in site is already building up to a key weekend of August 18th/19th.
Both sites will be a great way to reach a wider audience and will give clubs a chance to recruit new members and volunteers.
To be listed on each site, clubs are asked to offer free taster sessions or similar experiences.
They do however retain the option of stipulating how often these are available and at what times, so no club should be overloaded and can make plans to meet demand.
Both the Join in Trust and the BBC are asking clubs to visit their respective websites as soon as possible.
They can check out more information, upload their details and benefit from these two great opportunities which support Sport England's mission to get more people playing sport.
You can also see more information about each initiative in the Benefits section of this site.
