Trowbridge Tennis Club achieve Clubmark
Trowbridge Westbourne Tennis Club has achieved Clubmark accreditation following its continued efforts to achieve the highest standard of club management on an off the court.
The announcement was made as the club was presented wiith its Clubmark plaque by Julie Jones, Tennis Development Manager for Wiltshire.
Julie commented: "The management team at Trowbridge Westbourne have worked hard to develop their tennis programme to ensure it is accessible and offers appropriate opportunities for all members of the local community whatever their ability. The programme has expanded and evolved over the past 18 months and the club are doing an excellent job of promoting tennis. The process of Clubmark has encouraged the club to focus on creating the most professional service for the members and the wider community as possible. Clubmark is helping more people play tennis by inspiring people of all ages to get involved in the game. This award is helping the Trowbridge Westbourne TC to go from strength to strength".
Adam Jacob, Club Chairman reflected: "The Club is delighted to achieve this accreditation and wish to use it as a platform to move on to bigger and better things such as improving facilities, increasing membership, raising profile across the community as well as gaining access to more funding opportunities."
