Whitstable Youth Bowling Club has been awarded Sport England's Clubmark Accreditation.

Whitstable YBC are only the second Tenpin Bowling Club nationally to have received this prestigious status to date, the first being Strikers YBC in North Waltham.

The Club was presented with the award by Guthrie Miller, the Kent Club and Volunteer Development Officer.

Reg Belchem, President of Whitstable YBC said,

"I strongly believe in the Clubmark scheme and I would recommend all YBCs get in touch with their local county sports partnerships and apply for accreditation. I am very proud of our success in achieving Clubmark as I believe it will help to raise the profile of our Sport and demonstrate the level of commitment in our YBC."
