...From inspirational club members that give up their time to establish quality assured junior sections to staff from licensed organisations that recognise the value of Clubmark in developing high quality, welcoming environments for young people.

Spotlight on…Ellen Falkner

Ellen Falkner is a Development Manager for Sport England East. One of Ellen's policy areas is club development which Clubmark is integral too. Ellen took up this post in October 2006 having previously worked as a Workforce Development Manager for Living Sport, the County Sports Partnership in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Spotlight on…Stephen De Wint
Steve is Chief Executive of the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership, and has been a member of the national Clubmark Advisory panel since September 2006. Steve started out as a Sports Development Officer in Guildford and worked in Greater Manchester on the Active Sports Programme before moving to Lincolnshire.
Spotlight on... Laura Brown
Laura Brown is the National Club Development Officer for Volleyball England. Laura joined the association in April 2006, one of her key roles is the implementation and delivery of the national club strategy for Volleyball England which incorporates Volley123/Clubmark accreditation.
Spotlight on...Pete Ackerley
Pete Ackerley is Head of Development at the England and Wales Cricket Board, responsible for the delivery of Building Partnerships (Cricket's Strategic Plan), with clubs as a key focus. Pete took up this post in July 2005 having worked for the England and Wales Cricket Board since 1999.
Spotlight on… Anne Adams-King
Anne Adams-King is Director of English programmes for the Amateur Swimming Association, this includes responsibility for the delivery of the Whole Sport Plan through the Regional and National teams, as well as Workforce Development and the evolving health agenda.
Spotlight on…Liz Davidson
Liz Davidson is the Womens Sports Foundation National Development Manager for Equality, Projects and Regions and is involved with Clubmark as a representative of the newly formed Sports Equity Alliance.
Clubmark is a great scheme and the SEA are keen to see that in the future the accreditation of clubs through this scheme is synonymous with accessibility for all.
Spotlight on…Steve Darlow
Steve Darlow is the National Club Development Manager and National Academies Officer for England Basketball. Steve began his career as a development officer with England Basketball 12 years ago, with responsibilities in the East region, then adding the East Midlands, then gaining promotion to a national position.
Spotlight on…Clare MacLeod
Clare MacLeod is the National Clubmark Manager, responsible for the operational management of Clubmark on behalf of Sport England. Clare took up this role in April 2006 when Knight Kavanagh & Page was awarded the contract to manage the accreditation scheme until 2009.
