Since its opening in 1994, Cumberwell Park is now established as one of the best courses in the South West.

A year on from achieving the GolfMark/Clubmark award Cumberwell Park Golf Club is doing really well during this current climate. Numbers are steadily increasing and past members are returning to the club. The club believes this is down to the additional 9 holes, which has now alleviated slow play and increased available tee times.

They have also launched a new membership programme which is proving popular - a credit style arrangement with no joining fee, where members play at an agreed rate and the green fee is deducted from their 'account' - this only expires when the money runs out.

Whilst they have maintained prices on the adult categories, they have reduced the cost for 'Youth' members (19-21) and finally have increased female juniors membership.

This is down to the Junior Academy where children are coming through to the other categories. GolfMark gave the club a focus on this aspect.

Keen to maintain momentum the club is now looking at improving facilities to create a more family orientated environment within the Club.
