Dave Pettifor is the Clubmark Co-ordinator for Nottingham Horseball Club. He has been involved with the Club since 1991 when he founded the Club.

When the Club had the opportunity to work towards achieving Clubmark accreditation, he co-ordinated much of the information for its portfolio and attended workshops with the British Horse Society to help him and others pull it all together.

Dave continues to be involved in junior development as a coach educator and a senior coach. He is currently mentoring one junior members who is working with the British Junior Squad.

Personally, Dave has gained from Clubmark tremendously. As a UKCC coach educator he has benefited from being given practical and relevant information and has been able to attend local coaching workshops run by both county sports partnerships and Sport England.

He said,

"For me being involved in Clubmark has provided increased learning opportunities that I would not otherwise have had as well as material to utilise in my role as coach educator. Our junior members have been given access to sports workshops that have not only enhanced their understanding of our sport but in one case in particular has gone a long way to support their GCSE sports qualification."
