Diane Stafford has been involved with Tyldesley Swimming and Water Polo Club for 22 years since her children started swimming at the club.

She is vice president and chief coach, delivering a coaching programme to the swimmers within the community. Diane was the original swim 21/Clubmark co-ordinator in 2003 - collating all files and she has just been involved in the re-accreditation.

She feels that Clubmark has given the club recognition in the community to enable them to commence a School Club Link with regards to water polo;

"We knew that we were a good all round club encompassing swimming and water polo delivering within the community. Achieving Clubmark has given us the recognition within the club with swimmers and parents to deliver a continual high standard of teaching and coaching."
