Spotlight on... Natasha McIntosh-Berry

Natasha McIntosh-Berry has been involved with Minchenden Netball Club for two years and is an experienced player, having played netball in Australia, South Africa as well as in the UK.

As well as playing for the regional team, she is a qualified umpire and umpires for the club. She is also the club fundraiser, coming up with many innovative ways to raise money.

Natasha played an important role in the club's Clubmark accreditation, taking the time and effort to obtain the appropriate training and qualifications, including a certificate in safeguarding and protecting children, first aid, 'c' award umpire and level 2 coach training. She is currently working for her level 3 coaching qualification.

Natasha continues to get involved in junior development at the Club, encouraging the development of younger membership and taking taster sessions at schools to help establish links between the Club and local schools.

Since achieving Clubmark, the Club has benefited from increased membership, improved links with local schools and the development of effective structures.

"Clubmark has raised the profile of our club and we have seen increased membership. Our members stay with our club knowing that we run an efficient organisation where they will always be fully supported."
