Phil Preston is Chairman and player for Morecambe and District Hockey Club. He has been involved with the Club for 20 years after responding to an advert in the local paper when he moved to the area.

The Club achieved Clubmark/Clubs 1st (add date) and although it is still early days the accreditation is already generating results - increasing interest from the young people of local schools.

Phil said, "Clubmark has brought a recognised structure and award to the club ensuring we have the best coaches and sessions to develop players skills. The junior sessions are very well attended and the recognised standards enable useful and enjoyable sessions for all the attendees."
