Rosie Golby is the Club Secretary at Newbury RFC, Berkshire. Rosie started by playing women's rugby and then becoming involved administratively both nationally and internationally in the women's game.

She joined Newbury RFC 9 years ago when she decided to give something back to rugby in her hometown. As manager of the girl's section, she took responsibility for writing the Clubmark application and pulling together the items required. She feels that the club has benefited from Clubmark.

By having a recognised accreditation we can demonstrate to prospective players that we understand the needs of rugby playing individuals and are able to put in place appropriate training and coaching sessions for all children to benefit.
